DESIGNING THIS OAK HOUSE

P2 Design is honored to be a part of the team trusted to renovate the 1946 Beverly Hills home so beautifully documented in Annie Meyers-Shyer’s new book, This Oak House. The 6,000 square foot, Country Colonial style five-bedroom home originally designed by Gerard R. Colcord had undergone multiple previous renovations.  Our goal was to update the spaces to function for today’s modern family while preserving the original details, materials, and most importantly the charm.  The particulars of this four-year project were shared on Instagram early on by Annie, who quickly gained followers eager to witness not only the home’s evolution, but also to get a glimpse into a multitude of stylishly curated elements that transformed this home renovation into a lifestyle.   P2 Design’s Karen Putman said, “The most fun part of the project was the design collaboration between our clients, Robby Koch and Annie Meyers-Shyer, the interior architect, Brian Covington, and Ruth Blayney (also of P2).”  We were beyond thrilled to receive our copy in the mail.  Congratulations to Annie on the home and success of her new book!
